The long run has a place. So does the rest of your week.

Build around more than a race date.

Your half-marathon goal needs a calendar you can actually use. Start with the weekdays available for training and choose a preferred long-run day from those options. Then review how the generated sessions fit together.

Your first half marathon

Start from the running you do now.

Set Half Marathon as your goal and describe your current ability. Add the event date if you have one and choose realistic available days, then open the generated workouts to see what is scheduled.

Review your goal and preferences for this training period, including the day you prefer for your long run. Use imported activities and the upcoming calendar when discussing adjustments with Coach Q.

Inside Quovi

Ask for the move and name the session to keep.

This genuine example uses a fictional marathon plan to demonstrate Quovi's shared adjustment workflow. The runner moves a weekday workout while asking to keep the Sunday long run.

State both parts of the request

The message names Thursday's workout, Friday as its new day, and Sunday's long run to keep in place. This screen shows a marathon example, not a generated half-marathon plan.

Keep the goal. Reshape the week.

Keep the long run in the conversation.

If a weekday changes, name the workout you need to move and the long-run day you want to preserve. A specific move can apply directly from your message, so check the updated week after reading Coach Q's response.

  • Review available activity details alongside a planned workout when the two are linked.
  • Keep the event date and surrounding sessions in view when asking Coach Q about a change.

Before you download

Your half-marathon questions, answered.

Can I choose the day of my half-marathon long run?

Yes. Quovi lets you choose a preferred long-run day from your available training days. Review the generated calendar to see the resulting schedule. If that preference changes later, ask Coach Q for an adjustment and check the updated weeks.

How many days a week will my plan include?

You provide your training frequency and available weekdays as plan inputs. Quovi generates a schedule from your goal, current ability, and preferences. Review the actual calendar; there is no single weekly schedule for every half-marathon runner.

What if my half-marathon date changes?

Update the event date in your goal settings and tell Coach Q about the change. Ask to review the plan for the new date, then check the resulting sessions and any proposed adjustments. Updating a goal date alone does not mean every workout has been rescheduled.

What should I do if I miss a weekday session?

Tell Coach Q which session you missed, when you are available next, and whether there is a long run or another session you want to keep in place. Review the updated week rather than assuming the missed workout must be added next to the long run.

Is this a fixed twelve-week half-marathon course?

No. Quovi generates a personalized plan from your goal, current ability, training preferences, and any event date. Use the calendar to review the plan's actual sessions and dates; the same course length is not prescribed for everyone.

What does a half-marathon plan cost?

Quovi requires a subscription for core access, including personalized plans. Current plans, localized prices, and any eligible trial are shown in the app before purchase. Billing and subscription management are handled through your Apple Account.

“Quovi is easy to use and quickly generates plans to your exact needs.”
